We all love to see those beautifully wrapped presents under the Christmas Tree. Bright and sparkly, all sealed with a ribbon and tag. But after the excitement on Christmas morning we tend to throw the paper away and not all of it can be recycled. Simple paper wrapping can be recycled but foil or glitter-decorated paper cannot and needs to go in the general waste which impacts the environment.
This year Employment Support Officer, Leah leads the way by wrapping all her presents using recycled materials that can be recycled again, once Christmas is over. The wrapping is from mail order packaging and high street paper carrier bags. What’s more the tags and bows are handmade using last years wrapping paper.
This is definitely a present we’d love to see under our tree this year!
